Looking for more queer and trans icons to follow on Instagram or watch on YouTube? We’ve created the perfect list for you. Here’s a few trans people that are making their way in the world and that you should definitely know about.

  • Noahfinnce (YouTuber; Musician)

Noahfinnce is a British YouTuber and singer-songwriter. In his YouTube videos, he often speaks about trans controversies and his personal journey with becoming a trans man. Noahffince speaks openly and proudly of being a trans man, which is exactly what the world needs right now. He also makes head banging pop-punk and pop-rock music that will definitely make you fall in love with him.

  • Jamie Raines (YouTuber; Author)

Jamie Raines is a British YouTuber and LGBTQIA+ advocate. His YouTube videos often speak on the topic of being trans, gender identity and LGBTQIA+ issues happening around the world. He started his transition journey when he was sixteen years old and shares his life story with the world. Raines has also written and published a book called “The T in LGBT” which is about everything you need to know about being trans, so make sure to get your hands on that book if you have any questions. If you are curious or struggling with your gender or trans identity, Jamie Raines’s videos are definitely ones you should check out.

  • Alok Vaid-Menon (Public Speaker; Author; Activist)

Alok V Menon (they/them) is a well-known international poet, comedian, public speaker, and actor. They have published three books about gender and self-expression. They are also the founder of #DeGenderFashion: an initiative to degender fashion and beauty industries. Alok V Menon is definitely one to follow if you want to keep up to date with queer news.

  • Eli Erlick (Activist; Writer)

Eli Erlick is an American activist, writer and the founder of the organization Trans Student Educational Resources. She started her transition at the age of thirteen, and never looked back. Her activism started when she was fifteen, when she became a board member for an LGBTQIA+ youth conference. Erlick also created the organization, Trans Student Educational Resources, which is a program in the United States for transgender youth and advocating for recognition of trans youth in educational systems. Eli Erlick has done so much for the LGBTQIA+ community over the past 15 years, and we can’t wait to see what else she does.

  • Munroe Bergdorf (Model; Activist; Author)

Munroe Bergdorf is an English model, DJ, author and activist on racial issues and trans issues. She was the first transgender model in the UK, and has been on many talk shows and has attended many forums and marches to show her support for the LGBTQIA+ community. Bergdorf often speaks about her life journey with being trans and about the need to become better allies for trans youth. She is definitely making her way in the world as a trans icon that we all need to follow.
